"Amanda Palmer gone psychedelic and retro -- one of the rawest, most original aesthetics we've heard in awhile."

Here's a lovely article about the various ways Stephanie spends her time...

The Bands
Rearick is currently playing in two bands - The There Was A Mans and Ladyscissors.
The There Was A Mans is a regrouping of 3/4 of the original Your Mom (1993-1995) - Stephanie (keys, vox, trumpet), Jon Hain (elec. guitar) and David Fawcett (elec. drums). A brief review: "[The There Was A Mans]... played a fantastic set of avant-garde pop driven by a keyboard, a drum machine and Rearick's clear, strong voice. ... It's a sound that's hard to pin down, but if pressed, I'd call it a space-age cabaret cacophony." - Capital Times Read all about it!
Ladyscissors is a new outfit with Stephanie on drums(!) (playing a little less than a year now), Lorrie Hurckes on guitar and vox, and Brent George on guitar. Coming soon to a venue near or far to youÉ
