The Human Show is a monthly interview/variety show offered live at Cafe CODA in Madison Wisconsin and live-streamed.

sacred insect Until their 2004 breakup ended a 10-year run, Rearick fronted circus/rock/garage/cabaret band The Coma Savants, which grew up out of Your Mom and Your Mom SRO.

She also drummed and sang with jangly guitar rock band Ladyscissors, also feat. Lorrie Hurckes on guitar and vox, Anne Bull on bass and vox, and Brent George on guitar.

Two of Rearick's songs from The Long Picnic, Cosmic and Folk Tune, were featured in the documentary film Saving Jackie by S.A. Burks, which was screened at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival.

Rearick won the 2006 Madison Area Music Awards (MAMAs) for Best Unique Album (Star Belly) and the 2004 MAMAs for Best Classical Album (The Bucket Rider) and Best Classical Artist.

  • Feb. 2011
    Perfomed and recorded for Local LoveFest, a compilation of Madison artists covering other Madison artists.

    Covered Icarus Himself for CD compilation, added Art Paul Schlosser, Andy Ewen and P.S.Mueller songs for the live show.

  • 2009
    Collaborated on writing and recording "Steph's Song" with Madison hip-hop band The Crest.

  • 2008
    Perfomed Eugene Chadbourne's Sacred Insects of Ancient Egypt at New York City's The Stone.

    With Eugene Chadbourne (banjo), Mary Halvorson (guitar), Jessica Pavone (viola), Berry Mitterhof (mandolin), Evan Gallagher (keyboard, electronics, percussion).

  • Feb. 6 and 8, 2004
    Accompanied Eugene Chadbourne for two dates of Madison, WI's Chadfest.

    Fri. Feb. 6 Mother Fool's Coffeehouse: played keyboard and trumpet in a trio with Dr. Chadbourne and Judge Pete Friendly (drums). Played the first-ever live performance of Chadbourne's "The Emotional and Intellectual World of the Cockroach."

    Sun. Feb. 8 Nottingham Coop: played piano, trumpet, and loopstation in a quartet with Chadbourne, Michael Featherstone (drums) and Geoff Brady (vibes).

  • Summer 2003
    Wrote and recorded musical accompaniment for children's story, "Cloud Soup and Moon Stroganoff" by Tenaya Darlington. For Sparkle Dog Records, a new recording project run by Wendy Schneider (Coney Island Studio, Bugattitype 35)

  • November 2, 2002 L'Inhumaine silent film score
    L'Inhumaine, 1924 silent film by Marcel L'Herbier
    Wrote original score, performed live with the film at UW Madison's Cinematheque screening.
